At Cariboo Bethel Church, we believe that giving is a faith-filled act of obedient worship in response to God’s generosity. By giving, we invest in God’s kingdom, demonstrate His Lordship over our lives, and release God’s activity in our finances.

Ways to Give

  • Interac E-Transfers can be made to [email protected]. E-transfers are the most cost-efficient way for Cariboo Bethel to receive your gifts as no transaction fees are incurred by the Church. Gifts will be automatically deposited and can be made from personal accounts at participating Canadian Credit Unions or Banks.

    If this is your first time giving via E-transfer please include your full name, including middle initial and complete mailing address as per CRA requirements. Please enter this information in the comment section or send a separate email to the Finance Team.

  • Donor’s can use their Interac (Debit) or Credit Card to give through our debit/credit machine at the counter by the coffee bar in the main foyer. This machine is available every Sunday morning. When the gift payment is completed, please place the receipt in the offering envelopes available. All donations over $5.00 in a labelled giving envelope are receipted.

    The Debit / Credit machine is also available for giving during the week when the Church Office is open.

  • An offering is received each Sunday morning where cash and cheques are accepted. All Cheque donations are receipted. Cash donations should be placed in an offering envelope (filled in) if a receipt is required.

As such, we give a portion of our financial income to Cariboo Bethel to honour God and to support our church’s mission. This is often done as a spiritual discipline, weekly or monthly in gratitude to God for all he has given us.

Additional Information

  • Giving covers all of Cariboo Bethel’s various operational costs, including all the pastors, administration, maintenance and support personnel; the building and land, the utilities, office supplies, laptops, phones, bibles; the costs of the various ministries you see at Cariboo Bethel including Kids, Youth, Deacons, and Missions. Your gifts to Cariboo Bethel Church keep all these areas operational as well as many others that comprise our annual budgets.

  • Tax receipts for charitable donations are issued according to Canada Revenue Agency guidelines at the end of each year and distributed in February. Any gift over $5.00 is eligible for a charitable receipt unless that gift is linked to a specific service or product payment (i.e a youth event fee, Soup Sunday, book purchase, etc.).

  • To set-up, change, or cancel a recurring payment, please contact our Church office at 250-398-6731 or send an email to [email protected]. Please note that changes may take up to 10 business days to process.

  • Spending of funds is confined to board-approved programs and projects. Each restricted contribution designated toward such an approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met or cannot be completed for any reason determined by the organization, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where needed most. Cariboo Bethel Church is grateful for all contributions. If designated funds fall outside our mandate or ministry plans, we reserve the right to re-distribute the funds to meet our budget requirements.

    Gifts (or payments) not specifically designated on the offering envelope or in the description section of an e-transfer will be assumed to be contributing to the General Operating Fund (or Budget) of Cariboo Bethel Church.
